Yes, Mom, I'm really here....

So I wanted to post a few pictures of myself just to prove I'm really here... Mom always gets on me for being the one always behind the camera and never in the pictures, so here are a few things that I've participated in (and documented!) since arriving...


This is me lining up a great shot, which I missed, at the pool hall down at the amusement park. One kuai per game, and you don't even have to pay for people to ogle you! What a great deal!





I really miss my cat, and the girls here love to draw pictures of cats, so I joined in one day and drew a picture of my beloved Maggie. Except, I accidentally gave her a squirrel tail. Can you read her speech bubble?





I attempt to teach English as an Nth Language two nights a week. This night we were drawing words out of a bag and making sentences with them...How many different ways can YOU pronounce the word "shirt"?





This is me with one of the precious children here. Her name is Henna. When asked what she would wish for if she could wish for anything in the world, she said, "A kitten for Manon." Manon is her older sister. Awwww...
